Before surgery
1. Use swelling anesthesia or intravenous sedation anesthesia with "Little milk", the operation time is from 1 hour to 3 hours depending on the amount of liposuction. Therefore, fasting (including boiled water) should be performed at least eight hours before the operation.
2. No smoking two weeks ago, and fasting aspirin, hormones and other drugs three days ago, in order to reduce the blood stasis of the wound after operation. Prepare elastic compresure garment in advance, bring one into the operating room, so that you can wear it immediately after operation to reduce the wound bruising after operation.
3. Liposuction people should consult with plastic surgeons first to understand the parts that need liposuction and the amount of fat that may be removed.
4. Liposuction people should be informed of the basic process of liposuction surgery, possible problems and related countermeasures.
5. Liposuction people should do necessary laboratory examinations, such as blood and urine routine test, ECG, liver function, etc.
6. Liposuction female should avoid menstruation. Patients who take drugs of anticoagulants, vasodilators and hormones for a long time should stop taking drugs for 1-2 weeks.
7. Liposuction people should prepare elastic trousers or abdominal belt with good elasticity.
8. Liposuction people should stop taking supplements and health products such as ginseng.
After surgery
1. Surgical complications such as congestion, edema, skin numbness and subcutaneous sclerosis may occur after liposuction and slimming surgery, which usually disappears in 1-2 weeks.
(1) After the liposuction, there is subcutaneous congestion in the suction area, which is usually the severest in 3-4 days and subsides in 7-14 days. Sometimes the subcutaneous congestion can last for more than 20 days.
(2) Subcutaneous liposuction can touch some sclerosis or harden the whole suction site, the subcutaneous tissue is damaged, which forms scar nodules or hematoma, fat liquefaction.Generally, the absorption softens within three months to six months. The duration of subcutaneous sclerosis is longer for some patients.
(3) After liposuction, excessive fluid stored in extracellular space can lead to edema, which is caused by increased capillary filtration and lymphatic reflux disturbance. The edema of the crus is the most serious, lasting for a long time and gradually disappearing within half a year; the edema of other body parts of is mild, disappearing faster.
(4) Skin numbness and pain may occur after liposuction, which is caused by temporary traumatic sensory neuritis.It is usually a temporary phenomenon and can be gradually recovered within 3 months to 6 months.
(5) Some patients have pigmentation in the skin after the operation, which is caused by the deposition of hemosiderin or the increasing of melanin in epidermal cells, which can gradually disappear within a few months. Decolorization drugs such as hydroquinone cream or kojic acid cream are used for long duration of pigmentation.
(6) The surgical incision of liposuction is generally about 1cm, and the scar is not obvious; the syringing method has a small scar on the puncture area, and gradually disappears after 1~2 years.
2, those ,who are not satisfied with the effect of liposuction, can be repaired by reoperation after 6 months to 1 year after surgery.
