A 27-year-old lady from Huizhou visited HANFEI Plastic Surgery Hospital for comprehensive prosthetic rhinoplasty, aiming to fix her flat nasal bridge and droopy nasal tip.

As a yoga instructor, she valued a natural look—she didn’t want a “sharp” or “overly high” nose that would look unnatural in her teaching videos. She also mentioned that her droopy tip made her look “listless” even when she was energetic, which bothered her during client interactions.
After analyzing her facial structure (she has a round face and soft facial features), we decided to use a moderate-height silicone prosthesis for the nasal bridge to match her face shape. For the droopy tip, we used a combination of autologous ear cartilage and a small amount of septal cartilage to lift the tip slightly and add definition—this would keep the tip flexible and natural, not rigid. We also made a tiny adjustment to her nasal columella to improve the overall proportion of her nose.
The surgery went well, and she had minimal bruising around the nose. When she removed the splint after 10 days, she said, “It looks like my own nose, just better! The tip isn’t droopy anymore, and the bridge isn’t too high.” By the fourth month, the nose had fully healed: the bridge had a smooth, natural curve, the tip was lifted but not upturned excessively, and it blended perfectly with her round face. Her students even commented, “You look more energetic lately—did you change your hairstyle?”
